What I liked
Public transport is well developed in Portugal, but for trips out of town and to picturesque places, cars are practically necessary. The website https://roscar.pt/car-rental-funchal-airport/ helped me: it is easy to compare prices and choose a suitable car. I booked online and received the car at the airport – quickly and without unnecessary formalities. This option is definitely worth considering if you do not want to depend on the schedule.
