What I liked
The presenters broke down the marketing process into manageable steps, offering real-world advice on budgeting, branding, and audience targeting. I especially appreciated the tips on using social media effectively and how to craft compelling event descriptions. The Q&A section was also very engaging and addressed a wide range of concerns.
What I didn't like
It would have been helpful to include a brief case study or real-life example from a past HFF show to show how these strategies worked in action. Also, a quick handout or checklist for key marketing deadlines would make the info even more actionable.
My overall impression
Workshop #5 on Marketing & Ticketing was incredibly informative and practical. It provided essential tools and insights for anyone participating in HFF25, whether Stickman Hook you’re a first-time producer or a festival veteran.
