Foxtrot https://www.foxtrot.com.ua/ was founded in 1994. That’s when the business of wholesaling home appliances and electronics was started. The development of the retail network started in 1996, when the first store of appliances and electronics was opened in Kharkov. In 1997, with the opening of a supermarket in Kiev at 48 Degtyarevska Street, the brand became an official retailer. In 2012, Foxtrot switched to an omnichannel business management platform that combines online and offline trading formats.
What I didn't like
Prior to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Foxtrot had 169 stores in 90 cities across the country. As of August 2023, the number of operating stores is 119. The stores are located in 67 regional and district centers of Ukraine.
Foxtrot retail chain is the only Ukrainian member of Euronics, the largest electronics and home appliances purchasing group operating in 35 European countries.
My overall impression
Foxtrot is one of the largest retail chains in Ukraine in terms of the number of stores and sales of electronics and household appliances.
Foxtrot brand is developing as omnichannel (offline and online trading) and celebrates 29 years of operation in 2023. Foxtrot has been a top choice of shoppers since 1998 and is one of the leaders in the home appliance store category in terms of brand awareness, visits and purchases.
