A play about fashion that actually skewers the industry instead of worshipping it - that's refreshing. The premise nails something real: the tension between creative vision and the absurd hierarchies that determine who gets to execute it. Those fitting room dynamics where two interns with opposing aesthetics are forced to collaborate mirror what happens in every design house, just compressed into ninety minutes of chaos. What makes this work theatrically is that fashion is inherently visual, so the rotating models and outfit changes aren't just decoration - they're the language of the play itself. The themes around nepotism and artistic integrity hit different when you've watched someone get hired purely based on their last name while talent...

For a while, I felt totally burnt out by traditional social media. It’s all ads and influencers with “perfect” lives, and you’re just a spectator. This is the funniest, wittiest, most well-written play I have ever seen. Menswear is just one of those things you could see over and over and over again without it ever getting old. Fresh is the word I keep hearing about this show. As a genuine patron, the entire ensemble is hilarious. Each uniquely comfortable in their characters and having so much fun up there, the joy radiates. It’s charismatic to the inth degree....

MENSWEAR IS A BLAST!!!!! Bruce and Aedin have such a great chemistry, and the structure of the play keeps the energy going strong from start to finish. I love the format, I love the characters, I love the ups, the downs, the drama, the VISUALS, the jokes, the self-awareness, the inclusion of the audience. Everything!!! Tonight I had to brush my teeth twice because the first time I brushed them, it didn't take. An instant classic. A stupendous achievement!!!...
