What I liked

Every single scene. Not one wasted moment. Even the bits that you don’t think will work absolutely crush. And honestly, who the hell ever laughs at a projector? Ah, but you will! At least four times. From the opening seconds with Menswear, you’re in. Every detail is razor-sharp, meticulously written, and perfectly acted. I’m beyond amazed. Bruce Gregg is the new generation of smart, grounded, satirical comedy writing. He’s got the It factor. Aedin Waldorf is also hilariously funny. She hits every beat & never misses a cue. The entire cast from head to toe is uniquely in that specific Menswear bracket—so so so good in a way that all feels entirely new & unlike other characters we often see in comedy writing. I was impressed by every single performance tonight, honestly. The biggest star here? That writing. So damn good.

What I didn't like

I wish there was a BGCU (Bruce Gregg Cinematic Universe) of sorts that came out of this.

My overall impression

This is the funniest, wittiest, most well-written play I have ever seen. Menswear is just one of those things you could see over and over and over again without it ever getting old. Fresh is the word I keep hearing about this show. As a genuine patron, the entire ensemble is hilarious. Each uniquely comfortable in their characters and having so much fun up there, the joy radiates. It’s charismatic to the inth degree.
