What I liked
The show’s bravery and contemporary relevance.
What I didn't like
The set felt messy, script could be tightened and the costuming (baggy clothes) was too full of guilt. We are all born into an emotional bubble; our family histories are not our faults!
My overall impression
A scab-scratching exploration of white privilege. Rain Perry relates her family story as an in-the-process researcher with a set filled with file boxes and index cards plus a full AV complement to obliquely connect her hippie father’s family to the KKK.
