What I liked
Rain gently points to our collective privilege in being born in the ‘right’ family and how generations of us have benefited from the unearned and frequently unacknowledged advantages. Rain weaves in original music throughout, which supports the story in a very personal way. I was thoroughly impressed!
What I didn't like
This was my first visit to a show in the Film Festival and I enjoyed the entire experience. Wouldn’t change a thing!
My overall impression
Relevant and thought-provoking, This is Water is a beautiful and gentle exploration of one’s family history.
