My overall impression

I learned so much without feeling like I was “in class.” Rain made her own family’s experience relatable and timely. This play is right on time in this cultural moment. It acknowledges that as white folks we need to get a clue. And we are works in progress; we need to look at our empathetic evolution. And the songs! The musicians are wonderful too. Rain is such an amazing songwriter, too. Brava!
