The story line, especially considering that it is autobiographical, is very powerful and moving. The musical parts are lovely and soothing

My overall impression
Thank you for a wonderful performance last night. We were very moved by this timely, provocative and beautifully presented play. Your songs and the way you performed them were icing on a delicious cake. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have had the opportunity to see “this is water”. We just returned home from a protest and it was uplifting to be around so many like-minded people. Now I wish “this is water” would be compulsory for students across the country
