My overall impression

Truly awesome! Go see this.
EXORCISTIC is my favorite of the 10 or so Fringe shows i’ve seen thus far.
I’ll admit to some concern going in – i have seen an awful lot of lame “parodies” – within 5 minutes i realized, “Wait – this is a REAL MUSICAL!”
Michael Shaw Fisher is a young writer to keep an eye on: the book and lyrics are clever and funny, and the music is excellent. And he is good in the show (writers in their own shows tend to be another red flag, but not this time.)
The entire cast make up a truly fantastic ensemble… but extra special mention must be made of Laura Sperrazza, who, as “Megan” is a force of nature and a special effect all on her own. It felt to me like they must have had more rehearsal time than most other shows, but they assure me that is not the case.
Whatever the reason, the show is so well produced, written, and performed, it feels like it may be ready for a life outside the Fringe..?
You have 3 more chances to see this – this Friday, and next Thursday and Saturday. Don’t miss it.
