My overall impression

Leave your expectations to the wind, because when you go see “Exorcistic the Rock Musical Parody Experiment,” they’ll be BLOWN AWAY. I may for the first time be at a loss for words to describe how amazing this original adaptation by Michael Shaw Fisher is. With a bare-bones Fringe-appropriate set and Michael Teoli’s live band accompanying some of the most mind-blown vocalists (let alone actors), I was on the edge of my seat with anticipation for 80 minutes straight. And for the many of you who have a mutual friend in him, this show SCREAMS “Direction By Pat Towne!” Curt Bonnem, Leigh Wulff, Jimmy Swan, Laura-oh-my-God-Sperrazza, Sarah Chaney, Jesse Merlin, Anna-Broadway-Bowen and Michael Fisher himself — you all ROCKED our socks off last night! Whether you’ve seen the Exorcist or it’ll be new to you, there’s NEVER been such HILARIOUS horror on an LA stage, from my experience. GO SEE IT!
