A powerhouse musical parody that’s full of high energy, humor and knock-put performances. This show is destined to be a hit at this year’s Fringe. Personally, I can’t watch horror films or psychological thrillers because they fuck with my head too much, so I’m only culturally familiar with Exorcist the book/movie. Coming to a parody of a piece I’m not familiar with always makes me skeptical, but there was enough humor and liveliness in this show that I stayed entertained throughout. The performances overall are pretty first rate, although the ladies outshine the men, particularly in the case of the possessed girl, Laura Sperrazza who’s commitment, energy, and crazed sex appeal will probably be one of the best performances at this year’s entire festival. I HIGHLYRECOMMEND!
