Being a Theatrical Competition Judge for more than 10 years allows me to look at theatrical pieces from a deeper perspective and review on a more critical level than the average person. Although the theater was a little warm during the midday, Lemon Boots was truly an amazing show! I haven’t seen something like this in quite a while. The ensemble put so much passion, energy, and talent into this show! Their connection to each part of the show and with each other was very strong. The variety of music, physical movement, and choreography was exceptionally creative and appealing. I brought two children with me to see the show, not knowing if it was something they would enjoy due to their ages, but they absolutely loved it, especially the shadow scene! Bravo!
