About the Project
WAITING BY THE OCEAN FOR YOU a new play by Destiny Keller (LACC Class of 2021) presents three people from different backgrounds, who create a bond during their, treatment and recovery from addiction. The threesome quickly turn from friends, to a chosen family as they ride the waves of recovery, relapse, loss and triumphs. This new play shines a light into the dark corners of addiction, illuminating the fact that addicts and alcoholics are complex people full of love, grief, and hope.
