Each character was distinct and compelling, anchored by strong performers from all of the actors. I equally enjoyed the direction throughout the show, and felt the sense of space / time to be very convincing. Loved the story concept as a whole, too—it felt like an urban legend come horrifically true, and I found it to be a unique take on apocalyptic media.
What I didn't like
As much as I enjoyed the world-building and rules/explanations of how this specific apocalypse worked, there were a few moments where I was unclear on pieces of exposition and felt like I missed part of something. That said, I still felt I understood the world tonally and thematically throughout.
My overall impression
A well-crafted, darkly dramatic & humorous piece about sisterhood amidst a strange apocalypse. Wonderfully done and consistently engaging—the story brought me into the world immediately, and I happily stayed there for the remainder of the performance.
