Setting up that this terrible thing happened at 40 was such a great device for holding the whole show together with suspense.
What I didn't like
I don’t know if it needs it, but there was a moment in the beginning where the montage of photos morph into I think a lightning effect or something, IDK, it was very cool. Maybe there’s a way to incorporate more of the screen effects into moments throughout the story, but again, not sure if if even needs it.
My overall impression
Pam is such a great story teller, this structure of this show is so well put together that you can’t help but be invested into how her whole tale shakes out. And she’s such a likable and charismatic performer the whole audience was charmed by the fantastical anecdotes weaved into story. All I know is that they need to make this story into a movie!
