I loved the Oompa-Loompa song/Bernie impression, the “starting over” bit (especially the Justin impression), and the poem at the end was a gut-punch. So beautiful and simple.
What I didn't like
I loved the bit where Tony had people keep coming up onstage to try out “writing jokes for other people” and I could’ve sat through that even longer!!! Especially if there was somehow the audience volunteers could be instructed in a way to make the x as y as z as Tony clearer! But it was fun as is, as well!
My overall impression
It was a fun, engaging show that covered a range of topics, from class inequality, to loneliness, to fatphobia, to the form of comedy itself. Tony is an authentic performer that will surprise you, make you uncomfortable, and speak directly to your core all while making you laugh.
