I thought this show was genius! It truly was a piece of art. I loved all of the concepts and ways that the comedian tied the jokes together. I was literally crying at one point in the show because I was laughing so hard.... full review

Tony is completely at home on the stage. It’s clear there have been countless hours poured into the skills earned. This is a performer who can read the energy in the room and pivot when necessary. ... full review

Some say GoatVsFish IS ART, and THIS certainly is. We wondered, IS THIS ART Goat or Fish as Tony Bartolone regaled us with versus comedic, political, sensual, and fat. ... full review

it appeared at first it was your standard Stand Up Comedy show but as it progressed it became apparent it was a raw re telling of a flawed( as we all are) persons life and how they cop, deal and move forward. Any is a funny and kind man. Showing his sensitivities and imperfections in a stand up form was a great way to get to know him. He is relatable. Surrounded by his art in painting while he stands in his art of stand up . Well Done! Great show!... full review

“You slimed me! What is this…Nickelodeon?” Just one of the many zingers Tony brings to his amazing Hollywood Fringe show, “This Is Art”. He has crafted a 60 minute art piece comprised of humor, name origins, family, audience participation and relationships (or lack of). ... full review

"Brave... Provocative... These are words you can use to describe art." The audience laughs, and even though Tony jokingly delivers this line during his show I thought it couldn't be any more true to describe his show. There's something very special about this act, and Tony. The show is a mix of part stand up, part avant-garde comedy, part poetry, and part honest self-confessional/deprecating humor. To sum it up, it's beautiful. Tony is not afraid to share some of his darkest thoughts, which is mostly played for laughs at his own expense. But honestly, at one point in the show, near the end, I found myself connecting much more to his journey and his personal trauma, holding back tears.. Highly entertaining and moving. I had no expectations going into the show- well that’s not true. I met Tony Bartoloni (?) at a Fringe mixer and thought “WOW what a zany character”, I was intrigued and slightly jarred, which was a feeling that carried into the show. Once Tony came on stage, his vulnerability was palpable. Not to say he wasn’t hilarious. Because he was- is. “This is Art” felt like being on an awkward date with an alien who’s more acutely attuned to humanity than I could dream of. I loved every minute, even the moments when the cringe was (almost) too much to bare.... full review
