What I liked
I loved learning about Jenny Lind’s story. Such a fascinating woman and a story that needs to be shared. Shelly’s delivery of her script was natural, and her shifting between scenes was effortless and highly engaging. It goes without saying that Shelly is a fantastic singer too. But what made her performance extra special was her deep understanding of the music she was singing (in multiple languages) and her choices of repertoire. A real joy to be a part of the audience.

One powerhouse woman inhabiting another… It takes a certain talent to successfully embody a diva! Shelly’s Jenny Lind is warm, strong, courageous, and a beautiful mix of historical accuracy with modern flair.
