What I liked
the gorgeous operatic singing…and what a pro to actually do it a cappella for several pieces when the sound of the piano accompaniment malfunctioned.
the charming storytelling and sweet Swedish accent. :)
What I didn't like
the gown was pretty and Shelley is gorgeous, but I would love to see something more elevated in costume.
My overall impression
A powerhouse, virtuosic, charming performance by Shelly Cooper, shedding light on the famous Swedish Songbird Jenny Lind’s true essence and strength.
