What I liked
The actors do a great job with making the story clear, and the stripped down version gives us the essentials. This “Reader’s Digest” or “Cliff Notes” version of the script would be a great way to introduce the play to a Shakespeare newcomer who might be hesitant to sit through a full version.
What I didn't like
Since there was a fun lion-head costume, I was surprised that there wasn’t a donkey head costume as well. That might have been more effective than the T-shirt.
My overall impression
A great way to experience Midsummer. I had a great time!
