It is a thought-provoking and emotionally charged play that masterfully blends comedy with profound existential questions. Set in a courtroom in purgatory, the play explores the trial of Judas Iscariot, offering a nuanced examination of betrayal, redemption, and forgiveness.
The cast delivers stellar performances, particularly the actors portraying Satan(Anthony Garcia), Simon The Zealot(Brianna Vazquez), and Fabiana Aziza Cunningham(Gabriela Mendoza). Their combined talents bring depth to the play. The comedic elements are well-timed and serve to balance the heavier themes, making the narrative accessible without diminishing its impact. This show was such a fun trip to watch, I felt like I was in court the whole time, I loved the energy in every actor, I really enjoyed Saint Monica’s monologue ( Lauren Grace Parra) who I really couldn’t keep my eyes off and was so excited to hear what she had to say next. Me and my friend were trying not to laugh to hard with this show with everyone’s comedic timing, and also some of the more serious lines/scenes where a perfect contrast. Cunningham’s character was also so fun to see in action (Maribel Chavez) I loved her delivery each time and was also very excited to see what she would do/say next!! ...

Each moment felt fully inhabited. The humor and struggle cascaded through effortlessly, taking a well-written play and creating a night of great catharsis, spiritual interrogation, and humanity....

This was such a good show! All the actors did such an amazing job! I was really captivated by everyone’s acting! This play got me hooked and led me to research more about the trial of Judas! I watched the groups last play “Romeo and Juliet” and the actors and actresses have grown a lot creatively! I’m so impressed! I loved everyone’s part in it! I truly recommend people to come watch this play!...
