In Another Life has to be the most exciting work to come out of Hollywood Fringe 2024! The mind of T.W. Steward is truly something else!! Despite this show being a dynamic reading rather than a full production, I was completely transported into the world of Fastersille, which has been carefully thought out and portrayed. An ode to the fantasy novel, this play introduces us to another world (and another life!) with characters who feel familiar. I'm gonna need a full multi-part series, a spin-off, and a prequel...STAT!... full review

A strong reading of what has the potential to be a decent play / series. T. W. Steward’s world building is a delight for fantasy buffs; with Witch covens, ancient rulers, and deeply thought out magic rituals, there is lots of room to dive into lore and mechanics of a strange magical world. For the non-magic lovers, there is plenty of grounded, real-world heart throughout the performance. However, its complicated magic system and deep lore at times clouds the plot development and character motivation. With some polishing, this play has potential.... full review

For fantasy play In Another Life, genre functions as vessel for reflection. As tale is told, audience and characters alike slowly become privy to a story weaved with loss, love, duty, and, of course magic. Though set in the modern time, In Another Life exposes the tragic underbelly of a fantastical world, not too dissimilar to our own. ... full review
