What I liked
There are no words to describe Bob Bailey’s talent. His facial expressions are so specific and subtle, but convey so much. It was like attending a masterclass. He truly transformed into a different person and immersed the audience in a different time and space in a magical way. Also, he constantly changed characters in a seamless and flawless manner, making this a truly outstanding solo play. I also loved the lighting and sound. The harmonica added a lot!
What I didn't like
I wish there was no late entrance because that distracted me slightly.
My overall impression
Wow! What a performance! Bob Bailey is captivating and tells a compelling tale. This is such a gem! So many one-person shows are autobiographical but this was a refreshing performance of an unconventional and peculiar character which made this show unique and fascinating.
