This show is Lynette’s life story. She’s got a lot of show biz pizazz, sure. But the real stand out of her performance is her ability to express raw emotion while making it all so entertaining. I would like to see a documentary filmed of this show with plenty of closeups and Lynette’s profound use of silences.
What I didn't like
The show would be best served if the audience could be seated closer to the stage.
Closer seating would also allow Lynette to connect directly with audience members. It has been my experience that the best shows make the audience members feel that they are a part of the show — not just passive entertainment receptors.
My overall impression
This show was wonderfully entertaining. Lynette has personality, talent and great show biz instincts.
Scintillating.
