I really liked the vulnerability that Aline brought into the show. Despite being very funny, the show is also very real and emotional. I also loved the way Aline painted the picture of every single memory in a way that you could really see it unfold in front of your eyes, as if it were a movie!
What I didn't like
Would’ve loved a space with more depth and less width.
My overall impression
Witty. Emotional. Raw. Genuine. Hilarious. Aline brings forth her childhood trauma to create a funny, emotional and dark comedy movie unfolding before us. Just as the title suggests, she shows us her life the way she sees it as a movie, while referencing some of the greatest filmmakers. This is NOT a trauma dump, which I really liked, but instead, a transformation of trauma to a coping mechanism and a funny raw show!
