What I liked

I liked Jennifer’s silliness and her ability to switch between characters. The Quaalude slumber party scene with Nancy Reagan was hilarious. I enjoyed learning more about the 12th House, the connections between astrology and the Iran contra, and Jennifer’s calls for an end to genocide (which brought me to tears). It’s everything I want in my astrology!

What I didn't like

I think there could be a little more exploration of astrology fundamentals, but I realize that would either require a longer production OR a (YouTube? TikTok?) series in which Jennifer explores astrology basics as well as its connections to history.

My overall impression

Clever, entertaining, and educational, Jennifer takes you on an (often inebriated) trip through astrological history. Weaving ancient Irish mythology, American foreign policy, and a few funny, fictitious anecdotes, she not only explains some astrology fundamentals but also deftly illustrates how political astrology actually is. Whether it’s the Czar of Russia or Nancy Reagan, the rich and powerful have always used astrology to try to predict the future, and Jennifer does a great job at shedding light on their motives and hypocrisies. If you’re into woo, astrology, history, or CIA operations that are so far-fetch they sound like conspiracy theories, this is the show for you!
