What I liked
I loved the journey Gerald takes us on as it follows a young boy’s adolescent journey into manhood and the various struggles he endures as he prepares to enter college and find his identity in the world. The family politics are heartfelt and enduring while the dynamic with his brother is hilarious. I promise you will never forget his portrayal of a Mexican stripper!

My overall impression
It was phenomenal, a wonderfully acted and touching coming-of-age story anyone can relate to! Truly a blast from start to finish, you will laugh so much your stomach hurts. Gerald weaves between multiple characters seamlessly and they’re so distinct and unforgettable that you forget it’s only one man doing it all!
