What I liked

I think there is something for everyone in this show & I think the last line, “My weight is the least interesting thing about me” rings wildly true.

Full disclosure, I’ve known Ariella for 15 years. We’ve shared the stage a few times and she has always been a very supportive and kind friend as well as a giving fellow performer! As I sat there watching her last night, I realized that she has also spent a lifetime fielding nonsense about her physical appearance and I was shaken by the hateful things this world has put her through. We all need to think more about the things we say and the way we say them…especially to ourselves!

As a woman who has struggled with health issues, weight and my appearance, I was so moved by Ariella’s story…as were so many people around me in the house. The themes of self love and acceptance (or a lack thereof) run very deep.

Ariella’s show will leave you thinking long after the lights go down. She is engaging, funny, sexy and a true Tour de Force. Netflix, give this girl a series!!

What I didn't like

I wanted more – make it longer! Add more about other people in the industry who didn’t let weight define them – people need to see that women who are not “basic” have been here all along.

My overall impression

Fabulous, Fun and Breezy…But also wickedly important
