I could relate to more than 80% of the play.
It took me back to June 1986 when my family and I arrived in Sweden after leaving the revolution in Iran and how we had to adjust to our new “homeland” and the new culture that was more liberal our “motherland”, IT was a ROLLER-COASTER ride of EMOTIONS.
I liked the fact that that this play was so authentic and real…
I cried, I laughed, I emphasized and enjoyed they music.
I am TOUCHED!
This is OUR “LIFESTORY” The children of the parents whom left their motherland for a BETTERFUTURE for their children…
A peaceful life lived in a country where they have DEMOCRACY and FREEDOM.
Thank YOU for writing directing and acting!!!
Each and every one of the cast and crew were AMAZING!
What I didn't like
As a musical show I think it would be a nice touch to incorporate
A memorable farsi song of that Era in the play if possible
Just a suggestion
My overall impression
General story was on the spot describing shocking story of unwanted immigration and very uncomfortable adjustments to life of immigrants through pain and suffering with some success stories and some failure. It was telling my story .
