Solid characters, talented musicians and dancers and some real standout performances including Mohammed, Lauren and the Singer. The owner was very intimidating and held her character well. I liked the weaving of the English and Persian language through out.
What I didn't like
A Fringe show CANNOT start 5 minutes late let alone over 20!! There is a tight schedule for fringe goers and starting over 20 minutes late is not courteous to other shows and audience members trying to make other shows on time. The acting was better than the singing. Singers weren’t as strong as the musicians who backed them up. The script was a little all over the place at times too.
My overall impression
This show was a little clunky but had a lot of really great and well thought out moments. An incredibly talented band.
