This show delivers some mores of open-mindedness and acceptance of the spectrum of sexual orientation/expression, but through the kind of caustic humor most oft employed by those wishing to admonish and demean those who may be labeled “woke.” It is a surprisingly effective juxtaposition – and I hope will open some minds and hearts.
What I didn't like
I’d love to see a version that was slightly longer, just to allow time for the characters to authentically connect. I see the backstories but I’d love to be really feeling them.
My overall impression
Super hilarious, well-directed, with catchy musical numbers.
