What I liked
“Madame Pigsty” is the perfect MC to lead us on this degenerate journey, with Kermit and the other monster serving as excellent foils (the puppetry is phenomenal)! Every act had something special that made it stand out, whether it was pole work, prop work, or snack work. The costumes and lights were stunning. I particularly liked the garbage incorporated into the Oscar the Grouch costume. Miss Piggy was of course the star of the show with an alphabet lesson followed by a stunning dance that left the audience squealing for more, and Big Bird’s impressive leg and core strength had my jaw dropping. Jim Henson would have loved it.
What I didn't like
One or two technical difficulties delayed the show, expertly sidestepped by some excellent improvisation on the part of the puppeteer.
My overall impression
Funny, sexy, AND clever? I guess you can have it all! This delightfully campy, professionally realized parody of your favorite educational programs is a blast from start to finish.
