The opening was incredibly engaging and a strong start as the story slowly unfolds over the three intercut monologues.
The humor and general plot were all strong throughout. That fanfic scene…my god!
What I didn't like
Some scenes could be tightened up for better pacing or improving comedic beats.
My overall impression
The cyclical nature of bullying in middle school is rarely portrayed accurately in media. However, this play portrays it exceptionally well, demonstrating empathy and understanding for all characters as they navigate coming of age and facing different obsticales to self confidence. It is both humorous and realistic, capturing the essence of that age group.
