What I liked

The writing and directing is superb. Especially the opening between three characters speaking to invisible listeners breaking the fourth wall, setting up the story. I loved the situation: that it was set in 2012, that the characters thought the world was ending, and how they alternatively embraced and rejected the thought. The relationships, both straight and gay, between characters, were fantastic. The onset of puberty for all genders was both embarrassing and humorous. The actors were all perfectly cast and embodied their roles excellently. The theater was well-used for its space. Costumes, blocking, pacing and tone, literary and pop cultural allusions — even the between-scenes music was funny in its commentary.

What I didn't like

There is little to dislike with this show, that the director mentioned has been worked on for some years now. Some of the dialogue could be slowed down a bit, it came too quickly (for me, I’m older, while younger audience members laughed at things I might have missed).

My overall impression

This was hysterical. I haven’t laughed this hard in a long, long time.
