What I liked
Mel is captivating, you can’t help but root for her. Even when she’s being mean. Extra funny if you’re a boat person, or like puns. The name of the show is not a lie, motorboat I did. (with enthusiastic consent)
What I didn't like
I’m curious how it would work with a larger audience – and also since i was lucky enough to peat at the motorboat manual – I think It might be fun to pass it around or let other people see it.
My overall impression
If a d*sney princess was a boat, and that boat was a bop it, and that bop-it-boat was embodied by a cute kinky hilarious clown! – She’s busty & she’s brilliant! The show is physical & engaging for both the performer and the audience. It’s a delight to watch her win over the audience. Silly with a sprinkle of sincerity. Coming of age, rebellion, and self-discovery, explored through the lens of a beautiful boat.
