We Lovers

What I liked

The script of We Lovers is fantastic. It is poetic and textured with multiple layers of meaning, character, and narrative. The performers are all outstanding and worked together wonderfully in a true ensemble performance. Dina Cataldi glows on stage demonstrating dazzling talent in a wide range of skills including comedy, drama, voice, movement, gesture. The directors did an excellent job unifying all aspects of the production. Thanks for a great show!

My overall impression

We Lovers is magical, romantic, and highly imaginative — I felt transported to a different realm in which the context is initially unclear (adding intrigue) and then gradually takes shape in thrilling drama as we recognize a powerful yet nuanced celebration of storytelling + performance.
