What I liked
I’m a visual artist, but Joanna’s songs and story had me take another look at the importance of the spoken word and the art of listening. And remembering times past that touched us all.
What I didn't like
I know I lived through the 90’s but still didn’t pick up on all of the references. That’s not the fault of the artist.
My overall impression
A lovely gem of a show. Joanna is a beautiful and engaging musician, singer and storyteller. Her original songs are smart and her performance lights up this intimate space. There is a bit of the bard it this thoroughly modern woman.
