It was an E-ticket ride from beginning to end! I also agree Mark is a comedic genius! Mark makes big bold choices that engage the audience, and draw them into his characters downward spiral , train wreck, of a wedding toast. Wildly crafted and executed. “The Best Man Show” was hilarious, delightful, and relevant. He had us all enraptured in laugher throughout the show. Mark is a great performer and an excellent improviser. the interactions with the audiences members become entirely part of the whole experience. It’s also an exploration of love, for self and others. It’s not the deepest show in the world, but for how funny it is, there was lots of good meat. It’s clear he’s making fun of himself with the content, but the character righteous indignation is relatable frustrating and hilarious, and that helps us all to laugh at the parts of ourselves that can be a little like “Paul”.
