What I liked

I liked having the three characters move through different conceptualized scenes, such as the game show and infomercial. The format of organizing the comedy into different short sketches rather than one long storyline kept it fresh, while keeping a thread of continuity.

What I didn't like

There is only one more performance of Recolonizers at Fringe 2024, and I highly recommend you see it if you can. I understand there are plans to continue a run at the Broadwater, and as with all political satires, the show should keep up with the rapidly and constantly changing political landscape, while still centering around the core issues America faces that Recolonizers brilliantly addresses.

From what I heard about the Presidential debate, who knows?

My overall impression

A smart and sharply written political satire. Megan, Rob, and Sean are hilarious as they argue, push the Constitution via an infomercial, push conspiracy theories via a game show, and sometimes push each other to humorous onstage violence.

I watched this show on the evening of the Presidential debate, which I did not watch. Based upon reviews of that I have heard coming in, this show was the far more intelligent choice.
