What I liked
Everything. The structure, the pacing. Perfect amount of time spent on humor setting up the emotional backstory and context. While emotional reflection is occurring, it is also setting up more moments of hilarity, success and celebration. Executed beautifully.

My overall impression
Such a fantastic show! Written a performed brilliantly by Kelsie McDonald. Expertly navigates the character’s experience in a grind of a very public job (in this case a restaurant server) with the weight of life’s uncertainties and heartbreaks as well as joys, reliefs, and hopes. Harkens to song “There’s No Business Like Show Business.” of show people “there’s no people like ‘em. They smile when they are low.”
