What I liked

Performance was excellent.

What I didn't like

The conceit of the piece, that the character was serving the table, got in the way throughout the piece. The audience had to be instructed not to answer multiple questions that the character asked which felt offputting. The attempts to maintain the idea that the character was waiting on tables throughout the show became clumsy and distracting. The venue (the mainstage) was too large for the concept. This is a show that is frustrating because it’s almost excellent. It needs a reconceptualization, a rewrite and some directorial reworking so that it doesn’t get in it’s own way.

My overall impression

Very charismatic and talented performer. Fun show.
