What I loved about this show was that the audience truly felt like we were the table Kelsie was waiting on. She seamlessly brought us into her world, so it felt very real. The upbeat, fast paved nature of a server clearly very busy was so funny, charming and manic at times, which is so realistic. The point of view of a server working hard to ensure a positive experience for the guest, while also getting a glimpse of her as a real person with real issues in her life really worked for me. I found the asides to her mother, who had passed, were especially touching.
What I didn't like
I just want to see more!! Netflix, I’m looking at you!
My overall impression
I am amazed at what Kelsie was able to do on that stage. Her energy is contagious. It’s a beautiful show- both funny and touching. A must see for not just someone in the hospitality industry, but to anyone who has ever been to a restaurant.
