What I liked
I absolutely loved watching Amberlee’s character journey – she portrays highs, lows, awkward moments and intrigue with an ease that makes every word believable. Tyler’s powerfully subtle performance gives the audience the opportunity to watch his character develop over the course of the show, becoming more and more vulnerable, yet maintaining a sense of innocence, even when things get heavy.
What I didn't like
The only thing I would have liked is to have seen it in a larger space – the show was nearly sold out, and deserves a large audience!
My overall impression
This show is an absolute MUST-SEE. Amberlee Colson and Tyler Rice deliver deeply real, raw and often-times relatable performances as two people who, after a brief-but-important interaction years before, find their way back to each other after their lives have taken very different turns apart. If you haven’t caught this yet, do yourself a favor and catch their final performance on 6/27.
