It’s unlikely you’ll see anything else like this at Fringe. I certainly haven’t, this year or in years prior. Layered and poignant, it’s also weird and surprising – a testament to the nuance of Kyle Therral Wilson’s writing. Allison Youngberg as Corinthia rightfully carries the show, and does an excellent job of balancing the heightened style of the show with real heart, humor, and heartache. For anyone who’s ever struggled through family dysfunction or living in the shadow of an outsized person in their life, it’ll be difficult not to be moved by this production.
