It was extremely well-written. It was a brilliant visualization of the thought process we go through when we grow past our old selves and heal old trauma. It managed to make me feel every possible emotion.
While covering such a deep topic of trauma healing and re-parenting, it didn’t take itself too seriously. It had the right amount of audience interaction, silliness, and physical comedy to to make us all connect with our inner child.
What I didn't like
Wish I had something more constructive to say. It was perfect for precisely what it was
My overall impression
Truly amazing performance by Maria Margaret Wilson! It was beautiful, vulnerable, witty, introspective, and utterly delightful.
Maria provides a playbook for finding your inner joy. This is a masterful blend of whimsy, introspective comedy with sharp, spicy humor and engaging physical comedy. It is an open invitation to revisit your inner child.
Overall, the play is a profound, humorous, and wonderfully self-aware expedition into the complexities of personal transformation.
