What I liked

Sometimes I’m worried about attending educational theater because the education aspects might take over the storyline. But I have to say, in this case, the artist did an excellent job of blending the two. There were some lovely tender moments, especially the ending. And, there were sprinkles of laugh out loud humor! I felt invested in each character’s journey.

And, about the acting…superb. The emotional moments were not over the top and the characters were very grounded and realistic. At times one felt like they were hearing a conversation of their own friends or family. Clever writing for sure. Great job.

My overall impression

A beautiful blend of education and theater, this show does a great job of presenting the theater goer with some nuggets of information surrounding the world of learning needs while keeping us engaged and entertained.
