What I liked

A big thank you to Abby Denton for making something as seemingly mundane as car rental feel engaging and relatable. The play serves as a lighthearted reminder of how accessible travel has become—especially in places like Dubai, where private car rentals are abundant, efficient, and designed to suit every lifestyle.

What I didn't like

If you’re looking for a production that combines humor, practicality, and a dash of travel inspiration, My Brother, The Car is definitely worth a watch!

My overall impression

Abby Denton: My Brother, The Car is a surprisingly relatable and unique exploration of the private car rental experience, cleverly woven into a heartfelt narrative. What truly stood out about this play is its fresh take on modern transportation and how seamlessly it ties in the ease and practicality of renting cars—particularly for those familiar with services in luxury car rental cities like Dubai.

The story uses humor, wit, and emotional depth to highlight the journey of individuals navigating personal freedom, relationships, and the convenience of private car rentals. It’s almost like a guidebook wrapped in a theatrical performance: showcasing how hassle-free and straightforward it can be to rent a car in Dubai. Whether you’re a tourist looking for luxury rides or a local in need of temporary transport, the play subtly educates its audience without losing its charm.
