What I liked
I liked seeing the character transform. Melina did Griselda as a child—and we see why she became who she was. Murder, deception, backstabbing, family weakness—these all lead Griselda to mature into a tough gang leader. Once she is at the top, she still belive God is on her side, and everyone else is evil. A well told tale and a warning to watch where life leads you.

My overall impression
Melina Farahani does a great job bringing Griselda Blanco to life. We see her as a child and as she matures into a ruthless Mexican crime lord. We see her transform from innocence to cunning cartel gangster.
