What I liked
I enjoyed the simple staging which allowed the words to shine. Kathy’s performance is pitch perfect. She is funny, warm and delivers her show with a “subtle power.” And she accomplishes bringing the audience into her story in a way that is not forceful but voluntary. By the time it’s over you are invested big time. It made me think and relate to many people in my life and it made me cry (not easy). Bravo.
What I didn't like
I don’t believe there is anything that could be improved. The show is simple yet powerful. It sneaks up on you in the best possible way.
My overall impression
A beautiful tribute to two people who the author loved and to love itself. This show is relatable. We have all experienced love and loss and as such you are part of the human family. Art is experiencing. An artist makes you say, “Yes, I know what you mean. I know how that feels.” And so it is with this show.
